Aims: The project seeks to empower beneficiaries of international protection and to promote sustainable solutions for their integration through the provision of information on their rights and obligations on all matters of integration, including, amongst others, socio-economic rights, family reunification and naturalisation procedures. The provision of information takes place through the Information Centre, at GCR Offices.
Activities: Provision of information to beneficiaries of international protection in relation to their rights, their obligations and the procedures for their integration into Greek society, through the Information Centre.
Results: At least 1200 beneficiaries of international protection have been informed on their rights and obligations, as well as on the administrative procedures, including, amongst others matters of health/welfare, employment, education, naturalisation, residence permits, etc.
Information Centre for recognized refugees, beneficiaries of subsidiary and humanitarian protection
The Greek Council for Refugees is operating an Information Centre for recognized refugees and beneficiaries of subsidiary and humanitarian protection.
The Information Centre will be staffed by both a lawyer and/or a social worker who will inform beneficiaries on their rights in Greece – such as the right to education, work, health, etc. – and how to access these.
The Information Center will operate from February 24 until the end of 2015, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 11 am to 3.00 pm, at GCR Offices, Solomou 25, on the 2nd floor.
