In Greece, IOM is focusing on responding to the Mediterranean migrant’s crisis, in support of the Greek Government and in cooperation with all other agencies involved. IOM currently implements interventions within the areas of emergency, preparedness and response, disaster risk reduction, livelihoods, healthcare and psychosocial assistance, assisted voluntary return of migrants, migration and development, resettlement and repatriation, family reunification, counter human trafficking, assistance to vulnerable migrants.

Context:
Under the overall supervision of the Procurement Officer and the direct supervision of the Senior Asset
Management Assistant, the successful candidate will be based in the main office and provide support in
activities related to asset management.
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
1. Update inventory and condition of assets on a daily basis, using the prescribed IOM software (SAP) and tracking tools. Report the updates internally with relevant staff/ units.
2. Liaise with courier companies to ensure that assets are posted via courier to various destinations in a secure and safe manner. Prepare vouchers and other paperwork as needed.
3. Assist in recording and printing of asset labels ensuring asset numbers are assigned correctly.
4. Comply with established procedures and collect/ consolidate relevant asset management reports.
5. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support operations of warranties and contribute to effective service delivery.
6. Ensure proper filing (hardcopy and digital) of IOM asset management documents and keep records for proper utilization. Upload scanned files taken after verification processes to shared folders.
7. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited academic institution; or
• High school degree/certificate with two years of relevant professional experience.
Experience and Skills
• Two years of working experience in a similar role preferred;
• Experience in warehouse inventory management;
• Experience in working in a multi-cultural environment;
• Strong work ethics and commitment to humanitarian principles;
• Proficient in a MS Office applications;
• Knowledge and prior experience using SAP (PRISM) software a distinct advantage.
Languages
Fluency in English and Greek (written and oral) is required.
