The Dialogue of Civilisations Research Institute (DOC Research Institute) is a think tank that researches and develops proposals that address the key challenges faced by the international community.
DOC Research Institute carries out research into the causes of tension and identifies opportunities for conflict resolution. Its relevance is rooted both in the policy development proposals it puts forward, and in its ongoing engagement with a wide range of international experts.
DOC Research Institute provides an independent forum enabling people around the world to work together, through the fundamental principles of dialogue, to develop applicable analyses and practical solutions for national and international policy-makers and institutions.

Key responsibilities
The Senior Researcher manages the successful delivery of research projects related to the designated Topic; undertakes research design, data collection and analysis and produces reports, manages the research department group as and when necessary, leads and delivers strategic projects for the research department group.
The Senior Researcher contributes to the publication of analytical reports, the organisation of round-tables and conferences, and the provision of expert commentary and analysis from international network of reputed academics and sectoral experts.
The successful candidate should have:
Master’s Degree in Politics, Economics or Social sciences required; Ph.D. preferred;
More than 5 years in research and scientific work;
Track record of research and scientific publications
Solid background in social & cultural sciences; extensive research experience;
Familiarity with research agenda
Languages
Proficiency in English language, knowledge of at least one other language (Chinese, Arabic, French, German) is an advantage.
