Farsi Cultural Mediator for the Bashira Day Centre for Displaced Women
Part-time (20 hours per week)
Location: Mytilene, Lesvos
Overview:
The Cultural Mediator will be responsible for facilitating communication and mutual understanding between staff and beneficiaries. This includes interpreting conversations across a broad range of topics, such as psychosocial support sessions, skills-building workshops, and informational activities, while also supporting cultural understanding at the Bashira Day Centre for Displaced Women in Mytilene.
Requirements:
Essential
– Fluency in Farsi and either English or Greek (knowledge of both is not required but will be considered an asset)
– Willingness to work in an intercultural environment
– Good computer skills, including confident use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) email, and internet tools
